The Corran Quartet are a young, exciting string quartet based in London.
Since forming in 2019, they have studied intensively with James Boyd and Catherine Manson through MusicWorks. They have had the pleasure of performing in a variety of venues including Fidelio Cafe, and live on BBC Radio 3's 'In Tune'. In 2021 they were chosen as Buxton International Festival's Inaugural Chamber Ensemble 2021/22, Britten Pears Young Artist Programme, and received Chamber Studio mentorship from Simon Rowland Jones.
Following the devastation the Coronavirus crisis caused in care homes, in 2020 the quartet became a member of SoundUp Arts, an organisation that specialises in developing programmes for people with dementia.
